OMEGA DAY CENTERS
Empowering Possibilities Through Personalized Services
Community Engagement (CE)

Proposed* Omega Day Centers’ Community Engagement Service is a professionally managed program designed to enhance social inclusion and community participation among its participants. This service operates with a 1:3 staff-to-client ratio, ensuring personalized attention and support. It includes organized group outings and activities within the community, such as visits to cultural landmarks, participation in local events, and volunteer opportunities with non-profit organizations. These activities are not only recreational but also aim to develop social skills, community awareness, and a sense of belonging among participants. The service fosters meaningful connections with the community, encouraging participants to be active, contributing members of society.

Community Engagement Service is defined as a service that supports and fosters an individual’s abilities to acquire, retain, or improve skills necessary to build positive social behavior, interpersonal competence, greater independence, employability, and personal choices necessary to access typical activities and functions of community life, such as those chosen by the general population.
